orla kiely at target

What do y'all think about the new Orla Kiely stuff at Target? I feel sort of eeeeehh. Underwhelmed. The quality is nice, but the patterns are a bit too Brady Bunch? I wish she had done the straight up stems pattern ... now that I would get excited about. I overheard a woman telling her daughter, "look, it's like dishes from Grandma's old kitchen." Agreed? (I am).
Am I being too harsh?

I totally agree with you--underwhelmed and a bit Brady Bunch. Plus the colors don't match my kitchen at all! Boo!
I was initially super excited, but that has definitely waned since seeing the collection in person. I'm also, not a huge fan of melamine, so that a big strike right there.
I couldn't even find it at my Target (in Stamford). I went and asked where the Orla Kiely stuff was I just got a blank stare. Bummer. It's a twenty minute drive and navigating a parking garage- so not worth it. I agree that it's just OK.
