trend: succulents

I've noticed a trend this past year, and I'm not sure if it's on it's way out yet or not: succulents as wedding flowers. Don't get me wrong, I love succulents. But for a wedding? Seems a little cold to me. I prefer a puffy peony or a fragrant lily of the valley or an elegant French tulip or exuberant dahlias.
