wish list: comfy boots

Wanted: comfortable boots that will work here at home (Southern California) AND on the road for trade show trips to New York City. Do you think these [Rebels Shoes Aura Ankle Boots] will work? I'm loving the $29.50 price tag!

I like the look and they seem like they'd be pretty versatile... but the reviews seem to imply they're a bit narrow. Have you tried them on?
Lisa, I didn't try them on, and a few people told me BAD idea to buy boots and break them in during a trade show. Which, now that I think about it, makes total sense. So I'm going to stick with my old boots for now and just hope it doesn't snow too much (my boots are suede). I am tempted to order these anyway just to wear around SoCal, though. Decisions, decisions ...
