Kick off the day on a positive note with other North County graphic designers. No agenda, just say hello and get to know each other and share some great coffee. If you're really not a morning person or are just plain cranky until the caffeine kicks in [ahem... me], then just "nod" and take time to adjust to the morning sunshine. While researching for a logo design I was working on earlier this year I came across the font Buttermilk. It reminds me of puffy stickers and unicorns and rainbows ... in a very (very) good way. I'll be using it in some upcoming Delphine promos.

........ oh, excuse me, I was just fantasizing about the fabulous life someone with these faded and glorious Florentine carved wood candlesticks from Restoration Hardware must have. Can't you just picture them outside, with candle wax dripped all around? A plate full of freshly made pasta with peas from the garden in your lap, a nice glass of Rosé from Provençe. A friend strums his guitar on the chair across from you. The cool breeze wafts in the scent of Jasmine and salt air ......... or the most romantic wedding ever could be styled around these candlesticks, don't you think? sigh ...........

Yay! The darling "Tooth Keri" logo I designed for Dr. Nazli Keri, a pediatric dentist, was recently published in Logo Lounge's newest collection: "LogoLounge Master Library: 3,000 Animal and Mythology Logos."
I couldn't resist sharing Dr. Keri's partner in crime's logo, too. If you live in Southern California and need a pediatric dentist or orthodontist, swoop in to visit The Super Dentists! Your kids will thank you.

I have a soft spot for vintage office supplies. Truth be told, they need not even be vintage for me to love them. There is a reason why I do my office supply shopping online: so I don't buy up the entire Staples store!
I found all three of these "must haves" for my studio on Etsy. The vintage green clip board would look awesome hanging on the wall in my studio with the day's "to do" items listed. The vintage rubber stamp caddy would be nice to have, too. Right now all my stamps are piled in a giant jar, which is pretty inconvenient (J: this would improve studio efficiency AND look cool!).
Is it just me, or do these vintage paper clips look a little dangerous? I am constantly running out of paper clips (I use them more than staples because my pressman likes to spread proofs out, not have them stuck together). So I neeeeed these, right?

I just adore this darling tiered display stand made from vintage china. Of course it would be great for a tea party or dessert buffet, but I can also see it being used everyday: pile jewelry on it for display (and easy access) on your vanity, or pile darling macaron soaps on it for a sweet look in the guest bath. Just be sure to warn your guests not the eat the soap ...

Congrats to sweet Patricia and husband Gill; they were married this past weekend in a darling chateaux just outside Brussels. I am sooooo excited and happy for you two. Cannot wait to hear all about it (truly I am so sorry to have missed this epic day).
I've known Patricia since she was a little girl, so it was no surprise to me when she told me her wedding colors are aubergine and champagne. I seem to remember a lot of sparkly purple nail polish when she was a tot ; )
We letterpressed all of Patricia and Gill's stationery in aubergine and champagne inks; the design was custom, but look out for a similar design to come to the Delphine line later this summer.
Congrats again, you two. Send photos when you can, and please tell me you have your dad's speach recorded because I cannot wait to hear it!
