Here’s a peek at one of our newest wedding invitation designs, ROSE. It’s not yet live on the site, but you can order it by request. Shown here in jet black, sand and cantaloupe ink. We printed these for Janelle and Scott’s wedding, which was featured today on The Wedding Chicks. J’adore the black and coral color scheme at the wedding, so we used a jet black background on the invitations.
Many thanks to B&K Designs, Krista Jon Couture Designs and Archive Vintage Rentals for asking me to be a part of this fantastic day. And special thanks to For Your Party for printing all the fab party goodies for us! Please visit The Wedding Chicks to see more of this gorgeous wedding!
a top ten Pantone color for Spring 2011: Coral Rose
Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 10:04AM Now that New York Fashion Week is just about over, PANTONE has released its report of the top 10 colors for Spring 2011. One of my favorites is Coral Rose. I think Carolina Herrera showed it best:
I just love Coral Rose paired with gold. Super sexy, right? With this fabulous coral Carolina Herrera gown, the right fancy lipstick (by YSL) is mandatory, as is a classic cocktail (Cosmo, anyone?). I couldn't resist the cheeky but glam koi handbay (by Judith Leiber). The whole orangy-gold look reminds me of vintage lustreware (bowl from my personal collection of goodies).

new delphine ink color: coral
Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 6:12AM
We've just added eight new ink colors to the Delphine ink palette on our website! Yay for my favorite of the bunch: CORAL. It looks oh so lovely paired with "classic" Delphine inks: limonade, sand, shitake, and sunny. It's beachy, romantic, warm and fuzzy. I think it will look chic letterpressed on our lacey Robin design. On which Delphine invitation design do you think our new ink color would look best?
Images: Rose photo by Delphine (peach roses from Mémé Delphine's garden), bedding by Lulu DK for Matouk, flounce cami in "coral reef" and "highlighter yellow" from Madewell, stripey bracelet from Madewell.
in the press: elegant bride

Thanks, Elegant Bride, for featuring our signature AVA design in the Fall 2009 issue. The peach and cream color combo is so glamourous. Sort of old-fashioned and romantic, yet fresh and modern. Lovely! If you go with this color combo for your wedding I don't think you'll look back at photos in 25 years and think "aaaack!"
color palette: pantone's spring 2010 report
Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 7:42AM
Pink Champagne is my favorite color from Pantone's Spring 2010 report. Each fashion week, the peeps at Pantone head to the shows to report back on what they see as the color trends for the upcoming season. (Hello, fun job!) I think they're right on, here, with the coral, pink champagne and light brown. I think the other colors are a little too bright ... I had envisioned turquoise, but paler, like water, and yellow, but lighter like lemon chiffon. But what do I know? I sit in my studio all day ...
You can read Pantone's entire report here. And check out Erin Fetherson's website. She has some dreamy looks!
