How do I even begin to describe how amazing this event was?!?!! It was so fun to let some steam off with fellow Paper Peeps. Many thanks to everyone who helped organize my 7th Annual National Stationery Show (NSS) Meetup. Extra thanks to all the sponsors. And extra EXTRA thanks to everyone who trekked out to Brooklyn after a looong day at the Javits Center to party with us.

I’ve returned from a whirlwind trip to New York for the National Stationery Show (NSS). Although I didn’t exhibit, I still managed to run myself ragged … running to meetings, parties, dinners, impromptu conferences, snapping photos, taking notes, making friends, planning future projects & events. I had a great time, except for the part where I was sick and the part where I was stuck on a loooong flight home, ill, on my birthday : (
It will take me a few more days to decompress (and catch up on actual work), but meanwhile if you’d like to read about the show, I highly recommend these sources:
Oh So Beautiful Paper: Nole has the very best roundups on all the new stuff! It’s like going to the show without having to step foot in the Javits Center yourself.
Brooklyn Bride and Mom Inc. Daily have fun recaps of the 7th annual NSS meetup.
I am also working on a series of graphic design trend report posts from NSS (think Ikat, overprinting, neon, gold, watercolor) and the first one went live today on Creative-SoCal.
Thanks for understanding as posts are sporadic the next week or so as I recover from the show and my illness. Special hugs to all of you whom I met at the show who mentioned to me that you read my blog. I truly appreciate your support!

Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 7:35AM In just a few days I’ll be in New York! Of course I’m looking forward to all the trade shows and seeing a ton of great designs (and designers); but I admit that I’m most looking forward to a visit to the Met with a dear friend to see the Alexander McQueen exhibit.

I am really looking forward to the National Stationery Show this year. I don’t have a booth, am not showing my line, but AM celebrating being part of this wonderful industry by co-hosting my 7th Annual NSS Meetup! It’s Tuesday, May 17 from 7 to 9:30 pm at Brooklyn Winery. All stationery industry peeps (designers, exhibitors, reps, buyers, store owners, bloggers, wedding planners, etc) are welcome. But KINDLY RESPOND because space is limited. RSVP required for admittance. The first 50 guests to arrive will get super awesome goodie bags (trust me, you’re going to want one of these).
This year Delphine has some special friends helping out with the hosting/planning: Brooklyn Bride, Cat Seto, Oh So Beautiful Paper, Paper + Cup , and The Sweetest Occasion.
Many big hugs and special thanks to the amazing sponsors of this year’s meetup. We truly could not have done it without Felt & Wire, The Knot, and Mohawk. And more thank you hugs to the goodie bag sponsors: Anthology Magazine, B-List, Blossom and Branch, Brooklyn Bride, Brooklyn Winery, Cat Seto, Delphine, Eat.Shop Guides, For Your Party, Graphic Image, Green Paper Company, Kelly Guenther Studio, Linnea’s Lights, Mom Inc. Daily, Oh So Beautiful Paper, Paper + Cup, The Sweetest Occasion, and Wendelline Papers.

Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 6:06AM The studio is busy busy busy as we prep for our upcoming appearance at the VIGO booth at NYIGF. Last minute we've decided to introduce a brand new collection (it was originally slated to debut at NSS in May)... so we are drinking lots of coffee and frantically sketching around here. Yesterday morning I literally poured coffee into my cereal bowl! Over cereal! Whoopsie.
If you'll be attending NYIGF please do stop by to see us at the VIGO booth -- and if you're around on Monday morning make a beeline to #2808 to grab a mimosa. Mmm.

We had so much fun setting up for Monday Morning Mimosas. Thanks a million to all the rock stars to helped out especially Bobbi, who was a sport and decorated the whole place while wearing her cowboy boots!

If you will be attending the New York International Gift Fair, we’d love to have you join us and our friends from Smock, Green Paper Company, Russell+Hazel and Linnea’s Lights for an exclusive wholesale event on the morning of Monday, August 17. We’re bringing special releases available only at Monday Morning Mimosas, a bit of bubbly and lots of good cheer. You can read more on the Monday Morning Mimosas blog. Hope to see you there! This event is open to trade and press only. Rsvp required for entry.
Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 6:57AM Delphine intern Tori says: These little animal vases and sculptures are made by California artist Joanna Medicino. Each is hand thrown, so no two are the same. I love the clean and simple lines. Not to mention they are just too cute! My favorite is the hamster : ) You can see more of her work in her Etsy shop.
Delphine says: We had the pleasure of exhibiting at SFIGF across the aisle from Joanna a few years ago. And we, too, fell in love with her vases. In fact we have a few (the penguin and a modern mini bud vase) that we traded for stationery and a few shelves that we didn't want to take home with us after the show. Best trade at a show EVER!

I saw PJ's fun new return address stamps at the National Stationery Show last May and couldn't stop playing with them. You can pick your ink color, they are self-inking and not messy, and come in a bunch of styles and ink colors. Plus they're only $40. And they have a cute pink handle. Hello, ADORABLE! This would be a great way to dress up save the date envelopes or you could even use them on the front of response envelopes. You can check them out here.

Attention buyers!!! We're throwing another Monday Morning Mimosas party this August during the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF). We will not be exhibiting at the Javits--we're just doing MMM this summer. If you'd like more details please email me or leave a comment and I'll get back to you right away.
I'm so thrilled to let you know that some wonderful friends will be joining us as "exhibitors" at Monday Morning Mimosas: Green Paper Company, Linnea's Lights, Russell+Hazel, and Smock
